The championship theme, “Investing in Excellence, Building Champions,” was coined with this enduring partnership in mind and reflects the shared vision of Mayberry and JABBFA to develop talent, reward discipline and create opportunities for Jamaican athletes to excel on the regional and international stage. The official media launch on Thursday, July 30, will bring together athletes, sponsors, partners, government representatives and members of the media to unveil what promises to be one of the most anticipated editions of the National Championships in recent years.
As Jamaica’s premier bodybuilding competition, the National Championships represent the pinnacle of amateur bodybuilding and fitness in the country, attracting the island’s top competitors across multiple IFBB amateur divisions while selecting athletes to represent Jamaica internationally. “For the past four years, Mayberry has stood beside us as more than a sponsor—they have been a true partner in the growth of our sport,” said Audrey Allwood, President of JABBFA. “Our theme, ‘Investing in Excellence, Building Champions,’ perfectly captures what this partnership represents. Together, we continue investing in athletes who embody discipline, perseverance and excellence while building champions who proudly represent Jamaica around the world.”
The championships will feature Jamaica’s leading athletes competing in Men’s Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, Women’s Bikini Fitness, Women’s Wellness, Women’s Physique, Women’s Fit Model and other official IFBB amateur categories. During the launch, JABBFA will introduce the competing athletes, reveal key event details, recognize Mayberry Investments Limited as Title Sponsor, celebrate its family of valued corporate sponsors and partners, and outline its long-term vision for advancing bodybuilding and fitness throughout Jamaica. As the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) recognised governing body for amateur bodybuilding and fitness in Jamaica, JABBFA has remained committed since 1949 to athlete development, education and creating pathways for Jamaican athletes to compete among the world’s best.
